..........unless I have missed something in the past few months, which I don't think I have :-X, I was asked to attend a meeting today to represent Investment & asset management side ::)
The meeting involved the top bods of finance and head of department, and an external consultant, this was to look at all service areas with a view to making cuts in the region of 3 to 5% over 5 years. To cut a long story short this is being instigated by the government and the proposals have to be in by the end of this week Friday :-X
How much did GB just dish out to bail the banks out ::)......I assume this will also be happenning in other local authorities across the country ::)
some issues commented on er well we can only collect rubbish every two weeks, instead of every week ;D

It's the first time in 8 years i've been without work and I can't see any coming alone soon :'(

Round here rubbish is collected twice daily. I live in a block of flats, you see... but what is annoying is when you see house owners from neighbouring streets stop their estate or 4x4 near our central rubbish bins and offload half a dozen full black bin bags... >:(
