Just think Richard of how nervous she is feeling, and she may have as much, if not more, to lose than you! ::) ::)
Such meetings should not be just about how the man feels. :D :D ;)
Have a really good time! ;D ;D ;D ;D :y

She'll be up for it then :o
Seriously -- as has been said by those far wiser than I --- it's a date -- not a wedding -- enjoy it. If she turns out to be good company, see how things go, if not, well, you've gotten out of the house !!!!
When my ex decided to bat for the other side it took me a while to get serious --- but I still practised in between times ::)

So any tips LZ?? I totally agree. But a female prespective is always useful to a man. (I know I could have done with it!) :y

This is Jue's other half (on a lappy in a hotel and its so slow if I tried to log out and on in my name wd not be ready to post til morning lol). Definitely remember that she's a human being just the same as u.., try and be curious about what sort of human being she is and concentrate on having a good laugh. Don't worry about what may happen (cause lets face it what usually happens is everything but what u expect so expectations and planning is a waste of time lol).., just enjoy it for an evening out and have fun!
-
to be honest i am looking forward to it, we do get on very well and have a lot in common, must remember not to talk about golf or football, i need an update on eastenders, coronation st, hollyoaks and home and away. i cant imagine myself sitting watching that load of craap ;D ;D

Yes, she will want reassurance and a man who appears confident in himself, but not arrogant. She and he should both try and put each other at ease, with straight forward "chat", nothing too heavy, no inuendo of a sexual nature, just nice friendly, reassuring chat.
The man, and 'modern' woman, should not push anything too hard, or give warning signals out constantly that they are afraid of being left in a unhappy place 'like last time', recalling losses!! ::) ::)
Most woman that I know, including me, wants to be 'comforted' and led by the man, with full, maybe old fashioned, genuine courtesy and pampering. The right woman will respond accordingly, but if she, and he, don't hit it off then it should be treated as just a good night out until good byes! :D ;)
My advice based on my experience of course, in an imperfect world, which BOTH parties should remember, but which should suit most situations. :y :y

Tell her you hate golf and football and really love being in the kitchen doing dishes, cooking, washing etc. That being the case she should buy all the beer and pay for the taxi home, if she says NO you have a simple choice: tell her you lied to see her reaction or pi$$off. If she says OK, have good night but her your mates mobile number at the end ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

well thanks everyone, im off now to pick her up. irts gonna be the best kfc shes ever had ;D ;D ;D

Easy
The Cybermen have invaded (asks Sue) Albert Square and the Doctor is chasing them with a sonic screwdriver.
(Remembers something about Craig Charles), Craig Charles character orders a beer milkshake and has a curry for breakfast, a robot is seen cleaning everything with a dodgoly attached vacuum cleaner attachment
Did you know that Hollyhocks are biennial?
(Aussie) err they have been watching the Bathurst 1000 and then Max Rockatansky turns up in his Ford Falcon Interceptor
Hope this helps :y

Very sound advice Lizzie.
I feel that few men fully understand what a woman is looking for,or how they feel.
Some men seem to try to hard..or come across as arrogant instead of confident. :-* :-* :-*

just ask the question - do you opps on first dates.
this approach has served me well
Ive been spat at and slapped
Ive been kneed in the knackers

Funnily enough, the first time Mrs. KW and I met up, we ended up chatting for so long that before we knew it all the food outlets had closed so we ended up cooking an absolutely fantastic ruby murray together.
On the second date I took her out in the Westfield, and that didn't scare her off, so she kinda became a permanent fixture after that. ;D

How about thinking Richard had a smashing evening with her, appreciating her great personality (you know that thing behind the person and the sexual organs!! ::) ::)) and having real fun with a few drinks, listening to music, and finally taking her home under a stary sky, falling madly in love, with a final good hug and kissing session before waving goodnight to each other on her doorstep, promising faithfully to be in touch. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :D :D :D :D ;)
This morning Richard, and she, are now thinking back to a wonderful night, to be hopefully repeated, but for now just wanting to be left in passionate peace, without oofers probing and making too many directly suggestive comments!!!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

first she made me take the car home and get a cab, then we went and got hammered in the king george in chiswick, had a great laugh, got on like we'd known each other for about 20 yrs, then we sat in the park sharing a bag of chips for an hr, got a cab back to her place, carried on drinking and chatting, and we arranged to go out in the week for a meal and i left and went to play golf ::) ::) ::) ;)
