It seems that many on here have a particular musical genre that pleases them. That's fine, but am I alone in having a rather broad taste in music? Depending upon my mood, these can provide equal pleasure:
The Ventures – Wipe Out

GF Handel – Sarabande – (Levi's advert)

Amy Macdonald

Karl Jenkins - Palladio

Karl Jenkins - Adiemus

Allman Brothers; Jessica (hat tip to Debs :y)

Anyone else care to post an eclectic selection?

You certainly know the meaning of 'Eclectic' Love Wipe Out though..... ;D ;D ;D

Allman Brothers; Jessica (hat tip to Debs Thumbs Up!)
Superb driving track. :D It was a good choice as the Top Gear theme tune. Shame they've breaked about with it these days. :'(

EDIT: The tash, hat and sunglasses are dodgy though. :o

Good selection, Debs. :y
The Flower Duet is great. I booked the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra two years running for charity gigs (true!) and, at the second gig, the conductor (Welsh! ;)) arranged an instrumental version as an encore. :)
The Duke Ellington piece was great, too. Jazz is a strange genre. I've been to the jazz club at PizzaExpress in Soho and heard some great works, but oddly couldn't think of anything to post. The bizarre thing I find about jazz is that you'd feel all was well even if a 20-megaton A-bomb was headed your way! ;D ;D
I find it very reassuring music!

You need to copy the urls for each YouTube clip and then cut and paste using the "insert hyperlink" button for each one.
Look forward to seeing them. :y

I think if people were truly honest with themselves when it comes to music and ignored fashion, image etc then they would find their tastes are very eclectic.
My tastes are certainly a bit bizarre, here's some bands/artists I like in no particular order...
The Police (although Sting is a bawbag)
Imogen Heap
Rage Against The Machine
James Taylor
Christopher Cross
King Crimson
Steely Dan
Dave Grusin
Shawn Colvin
Bjork
The Corrs
Paul Rodgers
Goo Goo Dolls
Genesis
Yes

Excellent stuff, Miles Davis always gonna be great. Donald Fagan a legend in my opinion - Nightfly album is superb. 11 Tracks of Whack is another good one from his old pal Walter Becker if you've not heard it! :y

Hmm well, a list of some of the artists in my rack:
Toy Dolls, Bauhaus, Alien Sex Fiend, Anthrax, Sisters of Mercy, The Wurzels, Leila K, Eminem, Desmond Dekker, Buddy Holly, The Grid, Irdial, Nick Cave, Anti-Nowhere League, Boomtown Rats, Midnight Configuration, Adam And The Ants, Dust Junkys...
My main taste is for gothic rock, 80's rock and pop and a little oldschook rap...but I can listen to almost anything except instrumental and prog rock (which bore me).
