I remember the joy I had one time taking some kit out to an Army Air Corps helicopter simulator. Got to Heathrow and presented the BAOR documentation and they looked at me as though I was from another planet....went downhill from there.
One of the instructors on the base scared the c*** out of the youngster in our team, mentioned that he had volunteered for duty in the Falklands during the war as it would probably be his last chance to kill someone.....that really was a different world

why yes, it is! lol

If you remember the CO subtley said to me get rid of the omega as it aint an officers car.  I do need to spend less time working on cars and I dont have to tell you the discounts we get on cars here.

The jag presented itself (been dreaming about it since last year) and I took it :y
