....about Christmas.....lol its not a religious thread i`ve started.... :y
The PRICE of individual Christmas Cards ( or any other individual greetings cards)
I dont mind the fact ive spent close to 2 grand on my wifes birthday and christmas (8 days apart) and also our sons christmas.
I dont mind, in fact, i love all the traditions.
But how can it be justified....£3.99 for a bit of cardboard and some soppy words....
Guys you KNOW the score, you could spend a fortune on her but if you aint got a nice card....your in the doghouse.
Spent £15 yesterday on 4 cards :'(
Merry Christmas though everyone :)

i have yet to buy my cards, got all the pressies and wrapped them. But no cards as yet, not looking forward to it either. As you say the decent none tacky ones are at least 3 quid each >:(
At least its a cheaper xmas for me, no mrs to worry about :)

Tesco: £1.34 for a pack of 50 'Humorous Christmas Cards'. They were OK, though not really funny. Still good value….

If you REALLY wanted to get a nice card, you'd steal a design/caption from one in the shops, then go home, open up Publisher and recreate it as best you can, then print! Home made cards go down best as you put more effort in :D
Saying that, I bought all my cards from the shop this Christmas :-X

Why not consider buying some cards from a Charity. This way, you know the money is doing some good. I got mine from people who paint with their mouths and feet, www.mfpa.co.uk. The cards are quite reasonable about £9.85 for 8, and the money helps disabled people :)

Easy solution... don't get married! :D It's got to be the most expensive sex you'll ever have lol...
Personally I prefer spending my christmas cash on partying, oooooh yeah the next two weeks are gonna be a riot :D
Merry christmas all!

Not again charity, i'm disgusted with the whole charity bullshit, charity for this charity for that, i wish one day all the charity organisation come and tell us what they did with the money.
