Just noticed something strange in my Omega, and no i didn't look in the mirror. But went round a large roundabout so was turning right a long time and as i took my exit and swopped to turning left the interior of the car went cold, although the heater was on full heat both sides and fan speed on no1, as soon as i had straightened up for a few seconds it went warm again. So in the interst of science tried it again and was able reproduce everytime. every thing seems okay coolant level good and temp gauge bang on 90. anyone else ever had this or is it normal for the car? ::)

Does it do the same on full throttle?

Unless i want drive sideways off the roundabouts which could be good fun have yet to try, but no on full throttle on the straight heater works fine. Like i say its weird just like a passing cold wind through the car when going from right to left turn on fast long roundabouts, as if all the heat under g force has been pushed to one side then comes back again. Weird ::)

I think Marks_DTM Q was because the heating controls are vacuum operated from engine vacuum....

I would think that it would happen all the time i'm accelerating then, but it always works fine and is really hot. It doesn't happen all the time but will check over vacc connections under bonnet as ive had the inlet system out to do ex manifold, can't remember as not had the car long, if it was doing before.
