...a kia cee'd diesel. 1.6, 62mpg, 7 year warranty and £35 annual road tax. Seems like a no-brainer really. :-/
-
Or you could go for a G-Whiz no tax ,no go ;) ;) ;)

Had a petrol version on a 3 day extended road test...It was Kia's way of showing off their new car.
have to say it really was a great car for the money .........about £11000 I think and the build quality was excellent.
You could do far worse than buy one of these.....should make great value for money if you buy a slighty used model. :y :y :y

Why not, lets all have a laugh ::) ::)

I should add that I am putting my 9 year old mondeo lx diesel on the road next week,so if you get a spare balaclava you know who to send it to. :y ;D

Isn't it strange that, once one gets to a certain age, a kia cee'd diesel actually seems a viable alternative to a car?
Almost as much as a seven day Shearings coach trip to the Rheinlands is an alternative to a holiday. ;D
-
Bland, bland, bland...terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired.....is it medicine time yet?

I must admit i've seen a few 2 door c'eed things on Immingham docks being driven/thrashed on & off the boats & to be fair they look ok but that's all.
-
if kia are putting as much money and time into their cars as they are into their adverts, i should imagine they're really good cars
the cee'd really looks quite good on the adverts
-
lol
Most cars look good in the adverts........!!

All seems ok, not a bad car overall, efficient etc, but not a car you could love & be proud of, no soul or character. If i did'nt love cars & just wanted a commute/shop a to b then i might well buy one but i would'nt shout about it.
Teachers car. Boring, budget, terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired.....

lol.......and the preverbial tartan blanket, cushions and box of tissues appear on the rear parcel shelf ?! :D :D ;D ;D youve reached that 'certain age' - lol ;D
But hey, dont laugh, but i am getting letters from SAGA........aaaarrrggggghhhhhhhhh
-
if its value for money motoring that you are after then i don't think you can go wrong with this....
Reading through the review leaves me with the impression that Kia are really trying to make a statement with this car, if it wasn't for the fact that i like driving then i might have been interested myself
-
arriving home yesterday I picked a Kia Ceed from the grill...... oops! ::)

Hi
I needed to hire a car a couple of months ago for work, and when the guy turned up he had brought a Kia Cee'd 1.6 diesel. My initial reaction was ' i'm not driving that piece of cr*p ' but i have to say i was very suprised. It had every gadget i could want in a car, nice comfy drive and suprisingly quick. I hire quite a lot of cars for work to use for a few days and the kia is far better in my opnion than any astra/peugot 308 crap they usually turn up with.
i would say go for it
Steve

I think the thing to be aware of is that depreciation will be savage on it, so you'll be looking to keep it for a while I guess...

yep..I have similiar ideas about these cars..may not be faulty ..efficient..good for daily drive but have no soul..
a bit synthetic taste :-/
