Got to work this morning to find that I had a rear tyre puncture caused by a bl00dy nail......again!! Seems in the last 18 months I've been getting more than my fair share's worth caused by nails or screws. I've had 3 occassions where I've had to replace the tyre completely and 1 that was repairable. Hopefully this one will be repairable as the nail is in centre of the tread. I must be jinxed!! :(

well, with the current house prices slump we may have less building works going on, so less loose nails...

Unlucky.
Must be the fact your rear tyres are wider than most....more chance of hitting anything ;)

You haven't upset anyone have you ::)
Is your car on the road, garaged or drive?

I hope not - well certainly not to my knowlege anyway. :-/
I have my own parking bay in a covered car park for resident only although my car does sometimes stay overnight at my local pub. ::)
I don't actually suspect anything suspicious, just a bit of bad luck. I think if someone had a grudge, tyres are more likely to be slashed than pushing a nail in.

If you haven't already, ask the others in the residence if they've had the same. You never know, it could be kids playing silly buggers >:(

Trouble is new /newer tyres tend to pick up stuff more than a part worn one, plus the fact your being unlucky ;) went years without a puncture then got new set of rubber ding puncture not long after ! :-?

Bit of luck for a change - took it to my usual garage, had tyre repaired and both rear tyres re-balanced, and the cost..........10 quid for cash. :y :y
