Title: Can anyone help - Omega dimensions
Post by: Markie on 30 October 2008, 15:22:56
Can asnyone assist. Need to see if an omega will fit on a trailer i have access to.

Can someone advise; whats the "track" of an omega - ie front left tyre to front right tyre ( or width without wing mirrors)

Also what length is an omega is from nose to rear wheels ( ie not including boot)

I know the wheel base is 9ft and a saloon is 16 ft long - trailer has a base of 14 ft so its gonna be close :-/

TIA

Right young man, according to the Vauxhall sales brochure a mini facelift is 1786mm or 70.3" wide excluding wing mirrors and the Saloon is 4787mm or 188.5" in length and the estate is 4819mm or 189.7"

Not as much as i`d like to be Matey - the day job takes up more of my time than i would like  >:( Still in the current climate i shouldnt grumble.

Looking at an `99 oil cooler failure and how i could get it back for repair - the Jeep is ready wililng and able to tow but a deal to buy my own trailer fell through a couple of nights ago and the only viable option to hire locally is ....well going to be a tight fit  ;D
