Title: Tv cards..
Post by: cem_devecioglu on 30 October 2008, 18:00:19
Last week got a dvb-s tv card with FM tuner for 60 $..Really like it..

You can record programs as much as your hard disk(s) capacity..

Watch them later..Take snapshots..And if you are zapper (like me)

your fingers can rest  ;D as the card software can divide the screen

into subscreens and shifts between the checked program channels

(can be even 100 or more) ..So you dont miss any programs

anywhere. (but of course you need another TV set)  :)

As a long time Media Center user, I have no video recorders or DVD recorders around.  I have a Vista machine running Vista Media Center (comes with Home Premium and Ultimate), with 5 tuners.  In other rooms where we may want to watch recorded TV, or schedule recordings, we have MCE Extenders (in the form of Xbox)
