Mutantcav was supposed to collect this car 7 weeks ago and give Steve (Crazydad ) the rest of his money.. Promised me he would be down to collect this sometime this week so i took a week off work so as i would be here..
No contact with him at all and now look whats happened.
Its nice to deal with such a reliable person... [smiley=angry.gif]

Probably the last registered owner so he wont be happy either...I am not even going near the car and im sure nobody around me will say anything but, If they do, well lets just leave it like that for now..

Is it taxed and insured?
-
I remember you posting up about this a while back.
It's not right mate, bods shouldn't say they're gona do something, but have no intention of doing so. Especiallly when you've gone to so much bother.
I hope it's not registered to you :-/
-
I would give them his address, I could have pushed it back from yours in 7 weeks.
-
If it's not taxed/insured, not registered to you, and you want it out the way, there are numbers you can call ::)

And Crazydad loses his £500 then..
Forgot to say all the document are in the glove compartment..oops an oversight on my behalf.. ;D

Small claims court?
Please note, I'm not taking sides because I don't really know the history involved :y

If the car belongs to Mutantcav, how come Cr/dad will lose out if it's towed away? ::)

I think u need to start looking at your legal position hun. Who owns what, who owes what and what are the legal rights of whoever is owed, what is the legally expected time to pay a person is allowed before action is taken, and what was discussed at the time of purchase (or written down preferably). Then u know if and how u can act. The documents being locked in the car could be a problem but if u have documentation of the terms of the sale (I will pay in x days etc) then u may still be able to visit a small claims court but u need legal advice I think either way.

What fine? :-? It's an abandoned vehicle notice. Just move the car off the road.

And back again......... ;D ;D ;D

Call me stupid Russ (although Stupid Russ is not my real name), but why did you take a week of work? Your wages would be worth more than the car.
-
i am failing to see how this is completly mutantcavs fault - someone else borrowed his car and left it somewhere completly different than agreed.
i understand that you have given him time to come and get it and he let you down - but why did you take time off work and why isnt the borrower working a bit harder to get the car back to the owner?
i think it was very good of mutant cav in the first place to lend him another car because of a problem with the first one :-/

I took a week off work because due to my job i could be anywhere in the UK or Europe for god knows how long so needed to be home, as for Mutantcavs car, if he had sold a good car to Steve first off then this wouldnt have happened.
Mutantcav still owes Crazydad £500 from 7 weeks ago when he bought the original car.. Full of promises but dont act on them.
I don't give a monkeys if this car gets towed away as i am not the loser in all this but Crazydad might i stress might not be too happy.. ;)
This is not the place to slander anyone but just letting Mutantcav know as he is not replying to my emails..
I can not stop anyone else reading this post beyond my power im afraid.. :D

I'm only going to post on this the once...again I think this is totally out of order doing this in public...and pointless...you emailed me yesterday lunchtime...then post this less than 12 hours later without me having a chance to respond
I emailed you Tuesday saying I was coming Wednesday but no reply and I dont have a contact number or address for you...
So I'm coming tomorrow (Sunday) if you reply with your contact details to my email sent this morning...please can you move the car back onto your driveway or somewhere its not going to get towed for the weekend so its not taken away (if I dont turn up by all means stick it wherever you like)
Yes the timescale of 7 weeks to collect might seem a long time and is down to me, however this is not all of my doing as the car would have been collected from Kent where it was meant to have ended up 5 weeks ago at least...
-
And again...all the complaints and yet...no email no pm...so I have no contact number, no address and no idea where the cars been dumped...I know there are people on here that have decided to take sides one way or another...personally I'm starting to wonder if for all the protesting about how bad I supposedly am, something fishy is going on here!!

Seems to me from what I read that this thread should cease now, as the original one was locked by the Admins, as there are legal implications for all parties in this. :( :(
No one else on the Forum should get involved as no doubt there are two sides to a complicated story and redress to the legal profession is the only way forward. The Housing Association have every right to take the action they have on an untaxed vehicle on their property::) ::) ::) ::)

Check your emails buddy..show me proof you sent an email on tuesday..I have replied with contact number address and looking forward to meeting you. ;)

Theres nothing wrong with a healthy discussion.. :o
I have no more to say... :y
-
Details received thanks Russ...
Nothing wrong with a healthy discussion...however I dont believe there really is anyone on here that thinks this thread is a healthy one...sorry but this should have been done in private, no matter what...
I could have left Steve in the doo doo, car sold as seen etc etc so whatever the thoughts, I'm being slagged off as a result of helping him out of a tight spot and doing the right thing...
Likewise nothing more to say...car will be collected tomorrow end of...
