Title: Women and Bl*ody mechanics
Post by: Del Boy on 24 December 2006, 13:14:45
Well got home today at around 10am and walked through the back door and the tumble dryer was in pieces the missus said "i turned it on and it was leaking water so i took it apart now i can't get it on one of the  pulleys or find any of the screws" so i got one of the dining chairs out and put it on there, and we kind of worked as a team to fix it (so she just sat and watched) got it back on the pulley and said to her right the screws are there all you gotta do is put the back of it back on, now 5 mins later heard a rumbling noise nope it wasn't the tumble dryer it was back fell off after she had spun the drum to see if it would go around properly and she pulled it off the pulley again so i did the same again and put the back on myself and plugged it in and it worked whatever you guys do, DO NOT let your wife or any other women touch any mechanical stuff  >:( >:( >:(

And its not just mechanical stuff - My ex removed 3 light fittings as an incentive to make me put up the new ones that had been sitting under the stairs for several months. Then again, perhaps she had a point...
