check the event logs, occasionally there are eerrors updating the time. Normslly show as an error with w32 time next to it, although i have seen similar wierdness if the button battery on the motherboard is failing, but this tends to be when first turned on till it updates.

I'm going back a bit, and my memory isn't what it was, but seem to recall W32Time only updating every 7 days automatically.

So if you are drifting that much, your RTC is poor.

You can click the 'Uptime Time' in the panel, or programmatically by stopping time service, running w32tm, then starting time service

net stop w32time
w32tm -o -v
net start w32time

(may need to double check the params on 2nd line, doing from memory)

Not all Sky channels show the same time, sometimes flicking between E4, Discovery and Dave there is a 2 or more minute difference!

we have 4 large screens in pub, 1 screen is a second faster than the others, strange when you look at one then quickly at the other while football is on  :-?
