Title: Poorly Kitty
Post by: Gaffers on 10 November 2008, 14:23:21
Well I had a few random error messages on the Shaguar so I called Jaguar Assistance who without even quibbling asked me for my address and phone number.  2 Hours later towing company came and picked up Jag to take to stealers.  Then got a call Hire car (complementary) on its way, sorry for it not being there before taking Jag away, no problem I say chat up the nice french lady in French over the phone she's loving it.  Once software updated it will be sent back to me..... I wonder if it will be valeted?

You cant beat that  :y

One things for sure.....If I had paid the cost of a Jag then:

1) I would be realy pissed that it did not have the full latest software on it (when they are implying its a known software bug!)
2) Unhappy that it had failed so early
3) Expect that level of service as YOU have paid for it!

hmmm picked it up from the stealers who said there was nothing wrong, no errors stored inthe ECU.  The technician suggested a flat battery to which I said......'WTF!  I had just driven it 120 miles to and from Hamburg!'

Sobasically if and when it happens again I will just drive it strraight to them and prove I aint lying.  I dont think that there is any creedance to the error messages it just faulty fault sensors or a wire somewhere.  And I defo didnt imagine it because SWMBO saw it too.

The saga continues
