Title: New 2009 F1 car - not pretty!!

This is the new 2009 interim Sauber BMW testing at Barcelona recently. Not a pretty looking car. :-?

F1 cars have not been pretty for a long time!

Since the engine started going in the back IMHO! ;)

Agreed!

Skinnier rear wing but much higher and massive front wing. :o
Obviously something to do with the new regs for 2009. The only thing that looks better is PROPER slicks. :y

tbh the new f1 car looks like the older ones (around 95ish and earlier) like the mclaren's

Jesus Christ that is so ugly.....I think there will be ALOT more front wings being ripped off with them being that big......

I just realised, after the Endurance race last year they let Team Top Gear build thier lastest car.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I believe that the FIA's thinking behind it is that the new setup will create less "dirty air" behind the car to allow for more overtaking supposedly...

Personally, I think it will give Nakajima a bigger target to aim for on the way into the first corner.

Looks fine to me :y..but then never did think you had any taste Bob :P ;D ;D
