How low will it go ?, depends on how deep/prolonged the recession is.
Hopefully it will keep dropping :y

Good point Dave, one of my colleagues has a diesel, he's made that point too, he reckons the truck drivers may have something to say rather soon :-?  And obviously the Taxi Drivers too ;D ;D

And just to hijack my own thread, there's also talk of a further cut in interest, possibly a further half of one percent has been projected.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Be afraid, be very afraid [smiley=evil.gif]

We are in (very casual) talks about that. I am considering it as a project, to take the head off and sort that stud, but it's very much if, at the moment :y

Opec will try to keep the price of oil bouyant to offset the reduction in price because of falling demand by cutting production

Been 51.9 here for a week or two, although that station has just had a new pump and it's always knackered. Only 52.9 at Fleet services on the M3 though. :y

On pure demand/supply, I reckon we should see 85p/litre, but a cold snap in Europe (coming next week, I think) could see a rise in demand for heating oil and that could drag the crude price up, with a knock-on effect on petrol.

Then again, I might be entirely wrong.  :-[  ;)

Don't forget at ASDA, another 2p off is you use their credit card :-)

Oil has fallen to $47/barrel (down by around $8 on the day), so 85p/litre is looking a near certainty.

It may well go even lower than that over the coming months. Much depends on the weather, I feel.
