Title: OOF Calendar?
Post by: Albatross on 16 November 2008, 23:07:31: I just got an e-mail from another forum (which will remain nameless), which is putting together a forum calender wire-bound with some fine examples of members' cars one for each month.

The price they're pitching them at is £5 + £2 p&p.

What do you reckon? Do you think an OOF members' gallery/2009 calendar is a good idea? Perhaps they could go on sale in the OOF shop too?

I dunno, perhaps. It is just an idea. I don't mind spending the time and money getting it together for this year and posted out in time if the idea takes off.

I like those VR4's, very nice. Very aggressive front end to them, I prefer the saloon.

Post by: Albatross on 17 November 2008, 09:07:07: I like to meddle with PhotoShop, so I will (time permitting) enhance any photos so that they are more suitable for a calendar. I will not be editing or changing the look of the cars, only the backgrounds etc. :y

Numbers are still low at 12 wanted, 10 of those willing to donate photos (yes, where possible, I will make sure that the right car is on the right month, but try to supply a picture of your car taken in that season if possible)

i think that would be a definate seller.and worth the money :y

RobseyMV6 and I just finished taking man gearbox out. Pretty straight forward with no snapped bolts. Now, looking like a rambo with black marks all over me, i shall enjoy a nice soak :) There`s a shot for the 13th pic in your calendar- a pile of girl`s garage clothes ;D

Interestingly......that seems to be what I am doing.....not eating much, not drinking much, loosing weight and what I do eat has break all ~~taste~~ calories.

Interestingly......that seems to be what I am doing.....not eating much, not drinking much, loosing weight and what I do eat has break all ~~taste~~ calories.
LOL, me too! Trouble is, I sit down at 8:30am, and don't do any exercise until walking to the car at 5pm!

It depends; lower numbers, and it will be a cottage industry jobbie done by me at home. If it gets to over 50 firm commitments then I can get it done more professionally (outsourced).

Current numbers are mid 30's.
