Title: Sort Out
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 22 November 2008, 08:47:55
Slowly sorting through stuff ready to move home next year, picked up a box of paper work.  Usual stuff, insurance quotes and certificates, junk mail,

Also found Issue 11 of Speed and Power May 1974, quick scan through it and found a 2 page spread of Big Bertha the Ventura V8 that Marks DTM mentioned a few weeks ago.

Piccy of my Camaro  (http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk106/skruntie/Cars%20-%20Mine/philscars-A002.jpg)

Some pics of an Ex Girlfiend (ex Model)(No Pics Sorry  ::) ::) ::) Sod off they aint getting posted)

Loads of reciepts and instructions.

No Cash

Couple of miniture Screw Driver sets.

Looking forward to the next box now as I know there are still some odd car mags I kept from the 70/80's   About 5 years ago I dumped a few years worth of collections.

Cars and Car Conversions
Hot Car
Street Machine
Superbike
Custom Car  are just some of the names I can remember.   What a waste.

Of the 2 x 4ft high piles I had I think I kept about a dozen mags, from memory most had articles of interest on the HS/HSR Chevettes and Asconna 400. 1 mag had done a turbo Manta project, There was 1-100Mph Dave Vizard article on his Transam that his 16 year old daughter used to drive. Cant remember the time to 100 though but it was quick.

The one mag that did facinate me was the twin 210bhp Scirroco project that VAD did.  FWD, RWD or 4WD  rally interesting article,

The last one I remember was a pop star that wanted a quick Italian car but didnt like anything on offer, someone offered him a drive in a turbo project car and it blew his mind.  think it was called Manality Turbo, was a 280Z   Cant understand some people.
