Personally I wouldn't give him £7.50 each for em.
-
Poor deluded fellow. Nice but not that nice. ::)
-
Very important traction control which you really need, cuts in when you are about to lose traction and takes the power off the offending wheel.
I had no idea that was how my traction control worked, I thought it just cut engine power.
Mike

Can't believe he's charging that price and unless its the camera.., looks like the flooring in at least the drivers side needs a bit of a clean lol.
-
So if your`s drives straight you`ve got a rare car :D :D :D :D
it drives straight without pulling which is very rare in these models!
-

He's talking out of his back side but it depends how old your car is. I think that up to mini-face lift it just cuts power, but from then on it also applies the brake to the affected wheel too. PITA what-ever to me. :y

Let him dream, when he wakes up he might suddenly develop a reality check. ;D ;D ;D

Well at that price they must be platinum or some other precious metal.
Maybe you could get them melted down and recast as a nice xmas pressie for Mrs B.

Exactly and why is it so special that they are steel, what are they normally made of, plastic ;D
-

i know hes a dreamer and quite clearly on some other planet, but that is a lot of tyres
-
the car is grossly overpriced, and the wheels look bloody awful, make it look chavvy......
At 2k it might be worth a punt, but even then it is a high miler for its age...
Time to send the seller a link to a certain website ::)
-
Maybe he should meet up with Mr. 3 con rods so they can drool over eachother's overpriced items until they realize why they have no bids.
Some folk are a tad optimistic to say the least! ::)
-
please excuse my ignorance but did they do a 3.2 mv6. ABS list the mv6 as 3.0 (2962cc).
-
post 2001 i think were 3.2
Doesnt look nice at all to be honest, and the wheels make it look chavvy as mentioned before.
I always think the facelift Mv6s look better in a colour that allows you to see the different style front bumper....a lighter colour like silver or jade green mica for example.
The darker colours just seem to hide the extra things that make the mv6 stand out......?
-

quite right, i dont see why he's listed it as a "rare" car in his advert!
-
His seats are nice though. They are not black as advertised. They are the Charcoal Grey Leather sports seat that were "apparently" ;D never made.
-
Email sent.........!!!
-
hahahaha I just messaged him too!
i didnt tell him his wheels were awful tho
-
I didnt tell him that his were awful, more diplomatic than that, I told him there were other 3.2 MV6s about with nicer wheels at half the price he was asking.
He cant even use the mileage in his favour, cos its nothing special at 93000
:y
-
You'll all give him a complex! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think he already has one, thinking his miggy is the most special one in the World at a starting bid of £4k!! ::) ::) ::) :D ;)
-
I'm sure he ment to put £400. Much more realistic start. Horrible wheels though.

Have you emailed him to tell him so? ::) :y :y

You can't imagine what makes some people think their car is worth so much. Perhaps he paid over the odds for it & he still thinks that it must still be worth similar to what he paid. :-/ :y
-
"now done 93k but you would never know it" i would be worried if you did notice it, not even broken in at 93k
-
As a comparison I bought my car for a grande - ok it's not got leather seats or 3.2 engine but it's only done 84k - my guesstimate for his car would be £1500-£2000 - he's living in cloud-cuckoo land (suburb of southport) if he thinks it's worth that much :o
-
If it has full history and that history supports 2 cambelt changes and there are all the invoices to go with that stamped history then between £2000 and £2250, however it would have to be absolutely mint and would have to have the original wheels.....
Those aftermarket rims completely devalue the look of the car, an MV6 was always supposed to be an understated car
-
he's ammended his advert now. :-X :-X :-X
