Title: Fully fitted workshop
Post by: Elite Pete on 24 November 2008, 15:56:04
Last week I took my daughters lease car in to a bloke a know to have a few scratches cleaned up. We got talking and I asked him if he worked weekends, he replied "no" so I asked if I could rent the garage over the weekend on pay as you go, I got a phone call today saying the car was ready and if I wanted to use the garage I could. Its only small, probably gat 3 cars in there and one in the spray booth at the back but atleast it has a ramp, electricity, compressor, and heating. Time to get some flyers made up I think and see if I can make a couple of quid. A good place for a cambelt party as well :y

Excellent news mate.

What kind of stuff are you intending to do?

I have a couple of jobs that I could probably throw your way actually - nothing in it for me, it would just be logistically and geographically easier for you, if you want it :y

I was going to do the usual stuff but need to look into insurance first, you know how it is ;)

If you need any advice or pointers, give me a yell.

I'll help you with anything you like, I have built up some quite good suppliers, contacts, etc.

I don't need to be competitive over business, I have more than enough to satisfy my hobby and it would be great for more people to provide a decent service ;)
