I installed some software from the inernet a few months back, it turned out to be crap. When i tried to uninstall it, most of the program was left behind & the uninstall feature was removed, now i can't remove the software in the usual way. So how do i remove it? Any ideas please. I run Vista.
Thank you in advance

Best bet is to Google for instructions. 'A program' will have different ways to remove it, depending on what it is.
Symantec AV is the 2nd worst for me so far.
The worst got a full system re-install... >:(

I'd suggest installing crap cleaner (yes, it really is called that!) http://www.ccleaner.com/.
It's great at squirreling out bits and pieces of programs that are no longer required, and sorts out the registry too - you can run it regularly to clean the crap out of your system.
Might need to read the instructions carefully first - although it can't really do any harm!
