well at last some good news,
i stripped and rebuilt the new miggy today and hooray it was the headgasket, only thing was i bought it blind not knowing if the engine turned over, but i rebuilt it and started first turn and died and would not start again so i checked everything including timing etc but
APPARENTLY THESE NEED PETROL TO RUN ; :-[
so after a really bad day there was at least a decent one to follow

where is the best place to get mig batterys out of interest? Vx on tc? Mine has the vx logo on it so could it still be the original? How long do batterys last? 4 years? Its an 03 car on a 52 plate.

Hello,Chris,I had to get another battery 2 months back I got a Varta from their Silver Dynamic range after doing some inquiring. Varta are the market leaders and this Silver range uses their latest technology. Another make to use it is Bosch.Vx batterys are pretty good .I was told that Varta pretty well manufacture the lot.So thats why one's under my bonnet. All the best,Cliff. :)
