Title: Turkey is in!!
Post by: MartinP on 30 November 2008, 00:40:18
Well, Christmas is early this year, i.e. TODAY!

I made 21 dozen mince pies last week, normally a job for the first week in December.

Turkey has gone in the oven to cook

(http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/issunaz/turkey.jpg)

Finish work approximately 2.00pm on Friday 5th Dec.

We will be away for a while  ::), abandoning the kids for 5 weeks so the missus "MUST HAVE CHRISTMAS" before we go.

"WILL WE BE ABLE TO TALK TO THEM ON CHRISTMAS DAY?"

 :-/ err, yes dear, I'll sort out Skype  :y

Skype is memory hungry, so may have to borrow a beter laptop, (better than 1.0 gHz processor and 256Meg memory  ;D ;D)
Will be travelling to san Fransisco for a few days, then onto Sydney, pick up a campervan in Cairns and drive down the East coast to hit Brisbane for a second Christmas dinner and Sydney for the New Year celebrations.

 ::) ::) it's a hard life  ::) ::)

Is it unlucky to wish you Happy Christmas (damn, I've done it now......!! :D) now to complete the scene? ::) ::) :D

Have you got any snow today to make it a white Christmas? ;D ;)

 ;D ;D

The miggy  will be in the garage, the Festa will be on the road, if No1 son gets round to booking & passing his "intensive driving course" and test he is insured on that as it will be his, then I won't have to Tax & insure it for him  :y

No snow :)  only lasts a couple of days now anyway.

Am now stuffed, it was a 12Kg crown, half left now for sandwiches, curry & salads  :)

ps : For those who are interested country Turkey is actually written as "Türkiye"  :y
