That ain't walking! That must be approaching a pretty good time for a middle-distance runner. :)

I would like to see someone walk 3.8 miles in 20 mins... IN SNOW!

I went to somerfield for some lunch (100 yards away) and almost landed on my arse a few times then!

I used to cycle everywhere in Sheffield and lived at the top of Ecccleshall.  My cycle into Uni took about 8mins and often reached 35mph!  :o

It took some very defensive riding, not to mention very powerful brakes, lights and (air)horn to stay alive  ;)

Only went airborne once and it wasnt my fault, I was rammed off the road  :o  :'(

now I remember..many years ago approx 20 or more when I was in [ch304]stanbul on a snowy winter night, I had to go a long distance to a friend..

I passed to the other coast with ship..but at the other side the roads were blocked with snow and heavy traffic..I decided to walk as I trust myself ;D .. As the time goes by all my hair and dresses become snowy..I begin to feel tired and my legs become heavy  ;D  but no way to find an empty bus (all full like sardine cans) and no empty taxi.. anyway under heavy snow and face cutting wind I walked approx 7-8 kms :P ..When I reached the house I was freezing and covered with snow :P :P
