tonite at 9pm on channel 4. a program the fun police. about health and safety officers and what they are doing to this country.

They look an exciting bunch don't they ::) My old health & safety manager was the the same, about as exciting as a none exciting thing ;D

They are all aged about 50...still live their mums and are always called Timothy . ;D :-* :-* :-* :-*

Trouble is the number of injuries, some fatal that would happen if they didn't do their job. See the ethnic minority bunch at the begining. They don't give a damn about the health of their clients, anything that interferes with their getting money is to be ignored. Would you get your nails done or any health issue covered if you knew they used any old chemical they could get away with, cause it was cheap. If that chap in the garage is under his transit and the lift gives way, he's stuffed, or if he trips over a ratchet and smacks his head on the concrete floor...........

There are overzealous inspectors out there, but there's a lot of people still alive thanks to them.
