Was and still is one of the the best dance tracks ever made. :y :y :y

Saw Faithless at Wembley a couple of years ago and they were awesome. Unlike many dance acts, they have proper musicians and drummers instead of synthesised music. When they did Insomnia the place went wild, not a single person sitting - really brought out the goosebumps. :y :y :y

I'm no youngster but I do love good dance music and funky house - probably down to many years of DJing. ::)

I was still young enough to remember the scene starting out but was deeply into the Biker/rock scene as a youngster. Towns still had biker pubs then & when they kicked out we all rode the worse for wear to the Hungry Years on Brighton seafront til  3 or 4 in the morning. Then you could skin up, powders, pills openly. Fights were mostly ignored as they end quicker if left alone, biker girls danced on tables with beer wet t shirts (thier choice) so the club scene passed me by.

P.S. Our music had bollix. You clubbers danced round your handbags!!!!
     Love you. Guy!!! 8-) :D

And I can't believe you would tell people you put make up on in public to look like your idol, Guy.. credit to ya mate :D

And a few more from the OAP in the back seat :

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=G1AD2MoAwAU&feature=related

And an interesting classic music inspired group from somewhere foreign :
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LDxg-WO1Vc4&feature=related

Another popular song that has been remade several times http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mJqh6au7Ol0&feature=related

And another :  http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=j-j-pf5LykQ&feature=related I wonder how many times this has been played ?

And one of the first bands I saw in Glasgow, shame there were no camcorders around http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lkFwVGJYKJw&feature=related

And to finish off http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oP65fJu7_J4&feature=related

They were experimenting with music, pushing the boundaries, and achieving great results.

I ahven't been to an ordinary nightclub either - the music was pants, all new romantic nonsence.

Used to go to rock night clubs, where jeans & T shirts were compulsary.
