I tried to get a new driver's side locking solenoid from my dealer to day but it's not in stock and the price is around £56. I said I'd think about it and he gave me the part number of 90493702 should I wish to order it.
I have found a solenoid on EBay, described as a driver side solenoid, but with the part number 90493703 in the photo. Can anyone confirm that this one is OK (I've already put my bid in).

So yours is post 1996, and you're bidding on a 1994/5 one.

Thanks, TB.

I imagine you could modify it with a short bit of loom?
Failing that, contact one of the breakers here - I know JueV6 is breaking post 97 cars, not sure about the others :)

Thanks TB. I might put a request in the parts section. Incidentally (and I know this should be in general help), could you comment on this thread I found:

Should "Shaun's" procedure work on the Miggy? It doesn't on mine. I may do what Mark said and change the transponder chips over, although I think I need to fix the actuator problem first.
