Title: German Rock Music made illegal
Post by: Martin_1962 on 08 December 2008, 21:42:24
Found this on various sites including BBC TheRegister and others

An LP of the band Scorpions (of Blackout fame http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AE1paDKT6RQ&feature=PlayList&p=D3F5005784E7F62B&index=0) have had a page on Wikipedia banned in the UK, an album cover is said by one person to be possibly illegal (in the UK) so a lot of ISPs have banned the whole page, some the popup others are rumoured to have banned all of wilipedia.

Currently they are now trying to ban Amazon as well as they sell this LP.

It is getting silly, and to be honest if they hadn't banned this page a lot of people would have been none the wiser.

Now the big question - WHY DO THEY NOT BAN PHISHING SITES >:(

Blocked completly by BT, partly by Demon.

She is fine with it.

Quite funny but until this I didn't know that much about their earlier stuff - despite seeing them live.

I wonder where it will be in the album charts next week ;D ;D
