That must be where I have been going wrong all these years.
To me the kitchen is that little room from which strange smells and noises emenate, and Mrs Bitz goes there often and collects food. ;) ::) ;D

after being a dirty stop out last night, I suspect it will need more than a cake ;D

The missus is always going on about me NOT eating junk, and instead I should learn to cook - I think the best way to learn is by making CAKE!
I shall keep my eyes peeled for the recipe! :y

try making some pansy cakes , or shortcake biscuits, easy for learners ;)

It's not just the way to a woman's heart.
I would completely give in on the single lifestyle for a lady that could turn out a decent chocolate cake... :)

Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
6oz of Marg
6oz of Caster Sugar
4oz of Self Raising Flour
2oz of Cocoa
3 eggs
Put your caster sugar plus marg into a bowl then beat it up.
In a separate bowl put your flour and cocoa, then mix it together with a spoon.
Beat your 3 eggs in a separate bowl.
Add 1/3 of your 3 eggs into the Caster Sugar and Marg, beat up.
Add 1/3 of your Flour/Cocoa mix through a sieve into the mix.
Carry on adding and mixing this way until everything is in the mix.
Grease two round baking tins (sponge tins) with some lard, then powder with some flour (to stop the cake sticking to the tin)
Bake for 25 mins at 190 degrees or Gas Mark 5-6, 2/3 up the oven.
When baked put them both onto a rack to cool.
Now the icing....
6oz of Marg
18oz of Icing Sugar
2oz Cocoa
Add all into a bowl, then mix, (it takes a while and you think it will never turn to butter cream but it does, honest) add a spot of milk if it seems to thick but only a drop at a time.
Put over half in the middle of the two cakes, the rest around the top and side.
Add some hundred and thousands.
Put in the fridge for 10 mins then its ready to eat.... :y
Be ready to HAVE to make another ;D :) ;)
-
It is really easy to make, plus if you have children as you know they will love to help..
Go for it and post your result :y
-
;) Up the femoral artery.....`much easier than using rib-spreaders! ;D
