Title: Brake lights not working ?

Sorry not on the mig but the wifes old escort.She's been wondering why all the white van men have been waving at her.
Anyway,have changed all the bulbs,checked fuses and the lighting clusters printed circuits look ok,anything else i'm missing,cheers.  Ed

brake pedal switch, usual culprit, had to change 2 on a sierra I had.

Try the switch which was on Ford's just at the top of the brake pedal lever.

I have known them to work loose or pack up. :y :y

I was wondering about the brake pedal switch but as it was getting dark wasnt sure where to look for it,is it fairly easy to replace,thanks for your quick reply's. Ed
