Just bought some new rear rubber, does anyone have any experience of these tyres?
Avon seem to be a decent brand so paying £40 for near new wasn't too much of an issue.

Can't say about ZV5, no experience. But the ZZ3s I had on back of tractor were utter shite. Fortunately I wiped them down to canvas in 4k, so soon got rid of them :y

So far my ZZ3's have been excellent, giving me superb grip, quiet and smooth running with no sign of problems. :y :y

The reason mine wore down so quick was abysmal grip, but then the tractor has more torque. Even so, the amount of wheelspin and tail out action was excessive for a diesel automatic :-/

TB to wear tyres down to canvas in 4k takes some very wreckless boy racer driving, or drag racing!! :-X :-X
Even the worst driver I have known who deliberately raced out of every junction with tyres burning rubber got 10k from his tyres! :o :o
I have never got less than 30k out of a set, and I drive fast! 8-) ::) :P

Sorry Lizzie, its my day to day car, so certainly not a race car, but I do work in Milton Keynes.
The MV6 gets decent miles from its rears (fronts not so great), but I use better rubber.

That explains everything TB with all those bloody roundabouts separating the 'H' and 'V' roads!! :o :o I've got a brother and sister living there and I hate the place!
My sympathy is extended to you poor chap! ;D ;)

Just had a quick look on which.co.uk. The nearest they have tested is the ZV3 which comes out very average. Avon also have 2 tyres in the "don't buy" category. :-[

The grid system works well - its a very large town which takes about 7 mins to get across, and easy to find anywhere.
The local council, renown locally for being corrupt, are hell bent on ruining it by putting traffic lights on roundabouts, and lowering the national speed limits due to too many retarded kids getting killed crossing them >:(
For those don't know MK, it has a fantastic system of 'redways' (small 'roads' for cyclists and pedestrians, a to keep them safely from roads) with bridges and underpasses.
I often see the retards - you know the type, grunt and talk to you waving with their index and little fingers, pretended they are from some 1980s New York ghetto - playing chickens with cars.
Very fortunately, occasionally, so of these retards are killed, and thus unlikely to be able to pass on their genes :y

Hi,
Shouldn't they be 235s on 17" wheels?
