Title: 250 post count on spares
Post by: Simon_Omega on 15 December 2008, 17:55:45
hi been on here ages, deal with loads of omegas and time again end up with many good spares like gearboxes, 17 inch alloys, whole cars, engines, spoilers, xenons, all the bits and pieces people will benefit from, and i cant advertise them due to a post count restriction,
maybe this could be reviewed or dealt with on a discretional basis?

The only limits we can put on them are based on groups (which are based on postcounts).

The reasons for needing a limit have been covered in depth, and probably not worth repeating here. The reason for it being 250, is based on the groups, and the 50 level was too low for spares, but suitable for entire cars (as you will always be present during car transaction).

We do move wanted posts for members with less posts, but if we did that for sellers, it would become a farce, and unmanagable.

We need to find a better way of implementing this, but as of yet, we have not found an easily integrated, workable solution to it.

The amount of hassle the buying/selling section causes the admin team, if I had my way, we would delete it!
