I cant think why anyone would want to move the 360 whilst a disc was spinning away inside it but DONT!

Quote: an engineering consultant who made a statement in the case revealed that Sony and Nintendo design their products with exactly this possibility in mind. Maybe this is why...
Now hands up all those who are surpised that so called reputable companies would stoop this low.

Polish the scratches out with car polish. If they're really bad, start with T-cut, but only lightly press on & from the center of the disc outwards. When you're happy that most are removed, finish off with the polish & repeat the same instructions (you can press on slightly harder with the polish)

I've also found that even really bad scratches that can't be removed (unless you're prepared to spend a long time) can be smoothed out, so the lazer isn't deflected by the sharp edge & so follows its path & doesn't jump.

if the scratches are really my mate has a machine that will get all scratches out, i dont mean one of those crappy disc spinners but an industrial machine, makes disks like new, but t cut THEN brasso does work, also gets scratches out of most mobile phone screens.
