Title: Christmas Hats On Smilies All Year Round...
Post by: MutantCav on 07 December 2008, 23:09:13
Any chance we can have the christmas hats on the smilies all year round to try and bring the xmas feeling to us all year round rather than only getting it for a few weeks a year? :)  :y

All references to Christmas (everywhere not just OOF) should be banned until 10 December..... and removed after the 6 January ( Epiphany).

If this was done EVERYWHERE then perhaps Christmas would return to being something "special" rather than a drawn out selling opportunity for crap companies,

'Tis far too much a commercial opportunity now. :(

I hate Christmas and everthing to do with it and look forward to Boxing day and allthough its still part of the festivity it means Christmas is annother yesar away.

I do so much look forward to the New Year.

But I totally agree with Entwood, if Christmas wasnt rammed in my face I might take part in it as a Happy time of year, rather than a misserable time of year thet it seems to have become.

100% correct in my case.

As kids I loved it, but now the youngest member of my family is my Nephew at 18  and has to be threated by my Sister to sit at the dinning table for Xmas Dinner, and my brother and Bro in law that wont come home from the pub on time for lunch, plus the fact Mum and Dad are no longer with us.  So I just leave them all to thier own.

Lets face it, allthough I spend Christmas on my own, I can watch what I want on TV and for one time of the year the TV improves.  I can get pissed and fall asleep with out having to walk or get a taxi home.

But more than anything I dont have to constantly listen to my Sister moan about the cost and all the effort it took to organise. :-X

But roll on the New Year ;D ;D ;D ;D
