Title: MOT Failure!
Post by: ScottieMV6 on 19 December 2008, 17:53:28
Nothing major!! :y

Rear indicator bulbs not amber anymore so need replacing. Number plate light needs new bulb and nearside steering idler arm bush needs replacing.

I assume the bush is a fairly easy job so will do it myself unless someone tells me different.

The guy said that the car was in remarkably good condition considering its done 100k miles which cheered me up no end!!! ;D

Can I get just the bush or is it easier to replace the whole arm?

Replace the whole arm. Easy job just needs a good whack every now and then to remove.
