nice leather sports seats - though that means it won't have electric seats or memory mirrors etc. But they are great supportive seats - have them in my MV6...

Nice one Pete - you should be able to get you money's worth out of it even if it's just for parts, but it would be good to get it running again :y

Felsted's just a few miles down the road from my office near Stansted airport. If you need a hand with anything, give me a shout.

I have a cunning plan. Train to Felsted and phone Green Flag saying my car has just over heated. Tow home for free ;)

Legally, a car is classed as a braked trailer so you are ok to tow on the motorway. At least this way you stand a chance of being legal on the tow weight.....a trailer plus car is very heavya dn would require a land rover or van to tow it.

Disconnecting the prop is pretty easy (6 bolts and lever the donut out).

Steering is heavier and brakes are also heavy but not so bad as to make it un-driveable.....I have been the steers man 4 times now in an Omega!

Take a spare fully charged battery or swap it every hour or so with the one on the tow car.
