Title: 97-99 omega headlights

Hi all was down my local breakers today and on one omega they had a nice pair of 97-99 headlights and thought a set of them would look nice one my car.i asked how much for the pair and they wanted £60 a headlight but would take £50.Is this a goot price or do you think its too much like i think

depends are they Xenons?

bit steep even if theyre Xenons though!

The scrappers are all crooks these days......thats £100-£120 for a pair of 10 year old Omega lights.....

Used to be that you could go to the scrappers ............fill your pockets with anything that took your fancy.......then have a recon engine......alternator.....plus all electrics...............and still have change from a quid.

Last time I went the crooks wanted £3.....for the rear plastic ashtray.

Cylinder head tenner, gear box 15, radiator 5 all the interior trim 5 ect ect

I miss those days :( :'(

You can buy a whole omega for £250. :D

To expensive, i will have a complete pair of HIDs next week much, much cheaper than that :)

Might be best to buy a complete non runner ......£100.......maybe less. :y :y

my local scrappie "Pikey Morris" wants £80 for a used MAF sensor you can buy one new on TC for £100!!!!! and it comes with a 12month warenty!

i went there on wednesday as i needed an airbox he wanted £60 for the bloody airbox! so i went home and fired eGay up and won one for £10 posted to my door!

 The problem with scrappies now is the bubbles burst in the steel market so it's back to conning us poor sods >:(.

looking on ebay you can buy them brand new for £41 each

I bought some of those cheap e-bay ones last year, quality and fit wasn't good, but passed mot though.  Broken adjusters on old ones.

Well still cheaper then the breakers.£50 is alot of money for a 10 year old headlight.I only want a pair cuz i think it will make the car look better
