TB seems far too nice a young man to indulge in the demon alcohol.

Perhaps he has gone to church. :-* :-* :-* ;) ;) ;)

There really should be a joke section on the OOF, and this would raise a few laffs in it. ;D ;D

Didnt think you would be far away.

I know the OOF had had a couple of issues on the update the other day and it slowed down for a little while, but it's absolutly flying at the moment.

Keep up the good work, we all really appreciate it. :y :y

Merry Christmas to you and Mrs TB

It will have a few outages over holiday period - being migrated to another server.

I'd say Merry Christmas to you all, but I'm at work, and we're not allowed to say that, so I have to say "Happy Holidays" instead according to our HR.  >:(

Just as well, as apart from the one over the road, all our datacentres are miles away...

I work for a very large American global company.  Obviously with a workforce of 100,000+ scattered across all 5 continents, not everyone celebrates Christmas, and with that number, a fair few are not going to be tolerant enough to not be offended by it.  Being a yankee firm, there are shit scared of getting sued....

When you have a group of 10s of thousands of people, there will always be differing views, sometimes to the point of being extreme.

Saying that, our company rather famously cancelled Christmas - initially, it generously said that it would put £35 per head towards local Christmas lunches etc, but then 3 weeks before Christmas, revoked that pledge, blaming the economic downturn - that upset a lot of employees. Personally, I didn't really care, as rather than that sort of do, I'd rather go out with work colleges, have a curry, followed by a pub crawl - which we did :y
