Anyone let me know the torque settings for wheel nuts?
Just replaced steering idler arm and lost my haynes manual! :y

IIRC from memory it's 110nm, but please don't rely on that.

Seem to remember that figure from other posts.
Just went to look for the OOF Flyer but cant find it. I know all the tyre pressures are on it, but dont know if wheel torque settings are.

Indeed, I have never used a torque setting when tightening my wheel nuts, as I just pull the extension wrench I use to the tightest I can! :o :o
Never had a wheel cause me trouble and fall off yet! ;D ;D ;)

Thanks people. Done them to 110 NM just to be sure. :y

I have found out during my pre-mot checks today that 110 nm is about the maximum you can manage by hand with the wheel brace supplied in the tool kit, without standing on it.
Not sure whether that's by design but it shows what the consequences are of tyre fitters doing the nuts up by windy wrench when you get stranded with a puncture.

That's what I was always told.
Which is why you get a longer bar for a larger vehicle.
