I`ve been to see my dad today and he`s looking a little better the colour has returned to his face and some partial use to his leg...I`ve also spoke to social services and been told that they cant do anything till the hospital social services have seen him and he`s released from hospital but at least that balls started to roll and some help will be forthcoming :y as for me mum she had a good nights sleep last night before waking up in pain at 4.30am ish...and since then shes had sum kip on an off through out the day but she just cant get comfy either in bed or in her armchair  so it just a matter of doing my best......

glad to hear your old man's on the mend mate. sure your mam will get better aswell. just a case of being there for them. all the best.  :y

Nice to hear matey.  Get your Doctor involved and it will/may speed up a referal for Social Services. :y

Good to see your Dad's feeling a little better, your Mum will probably be a little happier with that news & so she'll feel a little better too.

My mums been admitted to hospital this afternoon by her GP as she was in so much pain last night and i`m just waiting on some news now as my brother sent me home as i`m exhausted...but whilst i was there i heard from the consultant who`s looking after me dad and i`ve been told he`s only suffered a minor stroke after the tests where run today and they want him to stay in and get some feeling and movement in his leg before discharging him the funny thing is that they are on the same ward of the hospital just separarted by some 50 yds :) but as my dads have sickness and diarehoea today he`s been put in a room on his own so as not to pass it on so i doubt that they will be allowed to see each other at the mo....i`ll be back up there 2mora to see em both and hopefully we`ll get em fighting fit :y
