diesel is taxed again as it is subject to more taxation as a WASTE product produced by the production of petrol

I don't smell too great after filling up with LPG sometimes. If you're not careful a bit of liquid gets shot up your sleeve and the stenching agent smells like decomposing onions. :-[

Can't beat following a tractor in a Westfield, or even on a bicycle though. >:(  I think they should all have high exit exhaust pipes like proper tractors. Fortunately they're very easy to overtake. ;)

I filled up with diesel last night at BP, it was all creamy. It's been a while since I owned a diesel, but I just wonder what additives they put in these days (and if this is why it's so darn pricey!)

My pug has a Bosch diesel pump, so this, combined with the fact that HMRC no longer require you to register (or pay duty) on the first 2500 litres you burn - would tempt me to fit a heat exchanger and run it on SVO, if I could get it cheap enough...

I always did maintain that diesels were noisy, smelly, filthy polluting engines which I would not have, even when the price of diesel once fell ;D ;D ;)

So serves you right if diesel is so expensive! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I never understand that... how do they know how many miles you have done on derv, and how many on SVO?  :-/
