Title: Free - Old PC bits and bobs
Post by: TheBoy on 04 January 2009, 16:29:11
Just cover p&p, or collect (preferred)

Samsung CD-ROM, still sealed
HP 9200 SCSI cd-writer - well used, reliable old beast.
256Mb ddr 333mhz cl2.5 (pc2700) so-dimm (ie laptop)
2 x 512mb pc2-4200 ddr2 so-dimm (ie laptop)
Compaq SCSI 20/40 DAT drive (used) with 4 sealed DDS4 tapes and 2 sealed cleaning tapes
20/40 (I think!) SCSI DLT drive (used)

All given away in good faith as working, but I do not have time to test, so who knows if they do.

As before, first come, first served.

Have some floppies originals for Win95, Office 95, and 16bit Office (4.3?) if anyone interested - need to use your own licence though

I'll dig them out when I get that far down the boxes, and post up lengths and quantity.  One thing though, from memory, they are friggin heavy...

OK, we have:

Skruntie - p4 chip
Skruntie - KVM cables once we know weight and compatibility etc
vauxfan - Win95/Office 95 floppies (I think!)

Any more takers - rest going in bin tonight...

...along with some Roland PC speakers (Stereo Micro Monitor MA7 is model).  Badly sun faded though.

and some External US Robotics Courier X2 modems (fairly sure I'd flashed these to v.90).  Couriers were the top dog modem in the analogue days, make an excellent backup.

If there are no takers for the Laptop Memory then I will take it, seems daft to see it binned when it might be of use in one of my laptops.  :y

I'll see if they have been binned yet, if not, they're yours.  But I ain't fishing in the bin! (Esp as I've just stood out there jumping up and down in the wheelie bin, so I could fit yet more in it.  Crickey, I could barely wheel it  :o

Memory was not binned, so recovered that.  KVM cables a bit suspect imho, so will bin those (couple of pins look a bit pushed in)
