Title: it might be cold out but...
Post by: humbucker on 10 January 2009, 16:11:02
... today saw replacement fog lamp bulb, stripped engine (v6) down to oil cooler to check all was dry and tidy in there (which it is), cleaned breather system out completely, replaced radio antennae adaptor for back of stereo, sold a complete leather interior for an elite and replaced ecc bulbs on both temp control buttons. then started to run out of light so put it all back together again! hoorah! oh and fitted brand new battery to cavalier...

;D

I started to strip engine down for cam belt change and cam cover gasket change. First time working on an omega but thoroughly enjoying it apart from the fact that I have broken 2 parts just trying to get them off!!!

I am a little ham fisted!!

While you are here Mark - Any news on Cam cover gasket set??

I got tools out and then looked for my big work jacket to find the other half had put it in the half build shed/workshop to cover the chopsaw and its bloody wet through. This meant working in a summer jacket or sitting in nice warm house having a rest listening to football. Hmm warmth and football won im afraid.

Will save work for next weekend!!  :D
