Title: MOT today fingers crossed

Well the car was booked in for 8.30am for its MOT & service today, so fingers crossed, now lunch time, have not had a phone call, they said if it fails they will give us a call before 10 am, so with a bit of luck it will be only the service work required. ( Have used this local garage for many years. )

Good luck, no news is good news, (as they say) - mine's booked in for the 23rd Jan, this will be it's 3rd - all at the same local garage, I've had it since it was 3 - now coming up to 6  :o

Got the car back, passed Mot with no problems not even an advise. The car has been serviced so already now for another year of motoring with it, the only thing that I make sure of is that I change the engine oil about every 4K . thanks for your replies.

Excellent news Pete. :)

I am having the Elite estate MOT'd on Wednesday morning...  :-/ right after they have replaced the rear wheel bearing (£40 for labour.... oh go on then! ;))

I am getting nervous already!

Tho suprised you paying a garage LB for doing the job.  :o....beyond me....but would have thought you were upto it!

It's a pig of a job and I'd pay £40 - I've spent more for less...
