Good morning everyone,
Just got home from work to discover wandsworth council have put a nice pcn on my car. To set the picture, I live in a council estate where there are parking bays off the road and pay and display bays on the estate road. My car is parked in one of these pay and display bays. The parking sign says 'permit holders OR pay at machine, display ticket, max stay 4 hrs'. The permit is clearly displayed above the tax disc.
The reason for the ticket on the pcn is
'parked in a residents' or shared use parking place without clearly displaying either a permit or voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place'.
This is utter carp, the parking attendant needs to go to school, learn to read then go to specsavers.
Does any one know of/have a letter I can use (obviously putting my details in ) as I fully intend to contest this all the way.
/rant over
thanks guys/gals

take a photo of car and permit and take that to where you pay it and they should waver it :y

yep...take a photo of vehicle as it is now parked and of your permit in windscreen and then send in a politley worded letter stating your case and then it should be revoked and said warden/officer reinstructed in the proper procedure of issuing PCN`S.....
