I’m Not a happy chappy….
Last night, when I finished work, I had no petrol, so I filled up to the top.
I parked my Omega at Gloucester train station overnight, and returned to it this morning.
When I got back to my Omega, I noticed that the petrol flap was slightly open. I thought I must have just not closed it properly, but when I looked, it had been forced open and the flap had been broken for someone to gain access.
Wasn’t a surprise when I turned on the ignition, to find out that the MID was reading 0 miles :(
I thought these things had an anti-syphon.
As a result I had to get a Taxi costing me £30 so I wasn’t late for work again and get fired!

Gits! >:(
-
Toe rags >:(
I've been thinking about getting a locking cap 'cos the flaps are easy to force.
Won't stop anyone determined, but might put off a chancer.
-
BASTARDS >:( your not having much luck, any cctv footage atall and have the police been contacted.
-
People like this are total *******.
Good luck with CCTV and sorry to hear about this mate.
I could really get on my soapbox and talk about crime and lack of disipline etc. but not on here.................

Thieving gits :o
My flap doesnt even lock.....the little plastic plunger is missing :(
-
bunch of thieving gits!
-
Here's hoping they choke next time they siphon the petrol out...
...and light up a smoke soon after.
Would make it nice and easy to spot the guilty party - they'd be the one's dancing round a car park with their head on fire.
Hope you have some luck with some CCTV footage.

That is infuriating - but the Police won't be interested because you were not speeding (I know what they are like there >:()
Sorry to push it but LPG is not stealable
-
Sorry to here that James :(
I read somewhere that in the Worcestershire area, 4 X 4's are having their Cats. stolen.
-
Sorry to hear that pal :(
-
Tough break James >:( idiots.
-
this would be one of those things to sting criminals don't you think??
Get a Humvee or a Range Rover, something with a huge tank of fuel. Park it in a known area of such crime, full of petrol. But put something in the fuel that makes it disagree with engines, like sugar ;) ;D
-
heh, I wish it was the Rover diesel they tried, they would have had fun syphoning 60 litres of neat pura sunflower oil ;D
-
Bad luck James, that's what I hate about today's society, no one has any regard for other peoples property >:(
I remember a few years back, there was an anti syphon thing available for fitting in the fuel neck of any car. It was a vicious looking spring affair with a securing rod through the middle that held the teeth inwards. The idea was that you inserted it as far down the filler neck as possible then withdrew the rod. The teeth would catch on the edge of the neck and it was impossible to get a hose down passed the device.
I haven't seen one for years, seemed like a good simple idea though.
Cheers Jim

I was thinking about 100000's of Volts through the filler flap, such as an electric fence setup. ;D

Sounds like fun, possible too. Take a wire to the DIS pack :y

Then take the law into my own feet, sorry i mean hands ::)

Any real damage to the flap, lock, or paintwork?
