Post by: CaptainZok on 10 January 2007, 21:52:34

So if the cambelt only slips not breaks a new belt will fix it.  ;D
It must be true coz Masterfit told him LMAO.

Budget for potential valve damage if it's moved more than a tooth or two...

The loss of power could be down to 2 things valve timing out or the engines fooked (read with a Clint Easwood stylee voice) "do you feel lucky punk" :-?

Car itself is more than likely just good for parts now.

I'd be tempted on the wheels though as I have seen a lowered green omega around my area and it looks quite nice with those wheels on.

Just my opinion :)

Banger rally?

Masterfit didn't say the belt would fix it, they said it had slipped, hes assuming (wrongly) that it will fix it!

Its a shame the seller is selling it whole as I would have been happy to take his drivers rear door for mine no problem as the bodywork looks to be in good condition.
