I personaly wouldn't pay more than £1500 for it due to mileage / age. ;)

..............and for some the auto box would be a problem as MV6's are considered better in manual mode! ::) ::)

It needs a cam belt kit as well, last changed at 61,000 miles and i bet it has been dealer serviced to their scheduals so will need oil an filters as well.

looks loke a nice example.Dont see why an MV6 should need to be manual.its not particularily sporty after all,the engine is the same as any other 3.0.
Would need to budget for a cambelt change,as mentioned
It was listed on ebay not that long ago, might be worth asking why it didnt sell the first time.

True enough.... looks tidy, funny place for an air freshner, smokers car maybe?, couldnt live with that stink if it is.
The noisy tappet he talks of will most likely go when the oils been changed a couple of times, most 3.2 owners on here have had this issue. Change every 3k for a while.

Do the pedal trick http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687 if you view it, for any codes esp the pre cat issue, no deal breaker as its common, but may be able to knock him down. and check all the dash lights work and go out while your there. Hth

Edited, Ignore this post. Answered for a 3.2 for some reason. Sorry!

You're mixing your 3.0s with your 3.2s.
No pre cat on a 3.0 so no pre cat problem and it's the paperclip rather than pedal trick.

Humpy

its about being smooth lol.. also knocking about going 100yards between having to stop for multiple traffic lights doesnt help lol... also riding the accelerator very slightly to hold the speed is bad, you should try accelerating and easing off (works for me but have to be careful otherwise you just end up with your speedo going up and down)

Re the manual/auto issue. A nice big CDX or Elite is lovely in an auto & has more toys to play with. While the MV6 is no more powerful it has the sportier suspension/interior so by it's nature is better suited to a manual box to make the most of full control on the twisties. 8-)
Ideally i'd like the manual Beastie & a specced up facelift auto est like Broocies to play kickdown with but i can't have both. :( :'(

Before the seller lowered the reserve due to being informed of cambelt intervals ::) ::) the bidding had reached £1150. Suddenly it dropped down  :-? :-?
