Post by: Andy B on 24 January 2009, 16:35:15

BIN = Buy It Now, I take it.

I'd be a bit suspicious - he says all four TYRES are mint, but no idea on the wheels. The one wheel he's posted a picture of is kerbed... I'd want to see pics of the other three.

Provided the tyres are good, though, £230 is a bargain. IMO.

The seller is a local scrap yard .....

£230 is still good. Make sure the alloys are good, or you'll be spending ages refurbing them (I'm doing mine atm)!

I missed that! Mind you, they are bleeding heavy, those wheels.

For that cost i'd collect them!

So, in summary....  ;)

Get pictures of all four wheels, and check for kerbing
Get him to tell you the tyres on them - if they are all Nanking (sp?) ditchfinders, then the deal may not be so good, cos you'll be changing all the tyres fairly sharpish.
Collect them - £100 carriage!  :o

Other than that, good luck!

I had noticed that, but they're only a couple of miles away!
