Other option is to do a continental race and all join friend that way... At least we standa chance of getting more challengers

Initially auto assigned, but then changed to manual to try and help you connect.

FYI, when I 'changed' it, I couldnt connect at all, but set up a 'new' one it was fine.

mine is static IP, and firewall adjusted as appropriate (can't remember rulesets though - I looked at what was dropping).  Pretty certain mine is on NAT range though, and pretty certain its going out of the BT Line, but would need to double check if its important

Mine's been fine on DHCP. LazyDocker, it's strange because you can obviously connect ok as you were in a Continental race so I don't think there's any issue with your private IP address. Unless of course for whatever reason a friend race does something different in a network sense and your firewall is causing issues. My firewall is using its default rules and I've been ok...
